FRANK WESSON MEDIUM FRAME SWIVEL BREECH DERRINGER. Cal .32RF short. Third type pistol with 2-1/2” superposed oct bbls that have German silver sights and a matted center pivot, with horizontal bbl markings and full length flutes. It has a nickel frame with 2-pc bird head walnut grips. Accompanied a modern made compartmented box containg the pistol, six rounds of loose ammunition and a homemade wood handle,brass cleaning rod. SN 125. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching including the grips, bbls retain 40-50% original blue flaked to light patina. The frame and grip frame retain about all of its original nickel plating with a couple of small scratches and a flake around the latch pin. Trigger and hammer retain about all of their dark case colors. Extremely fine grips with light edge wear. Good mechanics and bright bore with scattered pitting. Box is fine. 4-49919 JR473 (400-700)
