RARE SNELL BAYONET. 22” double edge blade marked “AMES MFG Co / CHICKOPEE / MASS” on one side and “US / ADK / 1856” on the other. Pommel is marked “A.D.K.” / “R.H.K.W.” and “L2”. CONDITION: Fine overall with sharp markings except the Ames has been slightly polished. Blade is bright with some rust stains and one patch of light pitting. 4-49693 FS98 (1,000-1,500)
