VERY RARE COLT NAVY BULLET MOLD. Cal .36. Marked “COLT’S / PATENT” on the sprue cutter and “36” in front of a “USC” monogram inside the handle. This stamp was used by the Ordnance Purchasers at the beginning of the Civil War in New York City. CONDITION: Fine plus, 75% bright blue with light to moderate denting, with loss due to flaking rather than wear. 4-49466 FS287 (500-800)
