REMINGTON CONVERSION OF UNIDENTIFIED MUSKET. .69 cal w/ 42” round bbl. Dated 1858 on lock and bbl. There is a small enhanced cartouche on the left side of the stock, which appears to be “LS”. The “N.J” stamp is on the left side of bbl. CONDITION: Bbl has been lightly cleaned, but some light pitting remains, heavier around the breech. The nipple is a new replacement. Wood has severe dents at the butt and has been varnished. The primer outlet has been plugged with wood and wax, so the lock cannot function properly. 4-49661 FS134 (1,000-1,500)
