SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. CAL: 40-82. Standard grade rifle with 26” round barrel, full magazine, case colored receiver, foreend cap and buttplate, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. The foreend cap and buttstock are fitted with factory sling loops, the barrel is fitted with sporting half nickel front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. SN 30829. CONDITION: Excellent to as new, retaining virtually about 100% all its orig. factory blue and brilliant case colors. The wood is sound and retains virtually all its orig. piano finish. The case colors are brilliant with some slight fading on the buttplate and light discoloration in the lever loop. The receiver retains most of its orig. factory shellac with a minor scratch on the left side. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-45307 Z116 (15,000-20,000)
