*WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 MUSKET. CAL. .44 WCF. Standard musket with 30″ bbl, two bbl. bands, 800 yard ladder sight, uncheckered wood, full-length forearm and straight musket stock with smooth trapdoor buttplate containing a four-piece reproduction iron and brass wiping rod. SN 571156. CONDITION: About excellent, probably unfired. Retains most of its orig. blue, with some minor scratches on the sideplates. The wood is sound with minor handling and storage marks on the forearm and scratches, bruises and rubs on the buttstock. Strong bright case colors on the lever, hammer and buttplate, the buttplate heel and toe are gray. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-44703 JL72 (3,500-5,000)
