*COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. CAL. 38-40. Nickel finish, 4-3/4″ bbl with 2-pc stag grips. Accompanied by a tooled, lined belt and holster set that appears to be about contemporary with revolver and 27 rounds of dummy 38 Special ammunition. The cartridge loops on the belt do not appear to be of sufficient size to accept a 38-40 cartridge. Additionally accompanied by a Colt factory letter indicating this revolver was shipped March 12th, 1912 to S.B. Hubbard Co., Jacksonville, FL as a blued revolver. SN 321385 CONDITION: Very good. Retains most of the renickeled finish with most of the bbl marking obliterated during the process. The modern replacement stag grips are excellent. Belt and hostler rig are sound with patches of finish missing from the holster and loose stitching in the belt. Excellent bright shiny bore. 4-45268 Z160 (2,500-3,000)
