UNMARKED BRAND TYPE WHALING GUN WITH LANCE. CAL. 7/8”. 20” part oct. bbl, iron stock. The 18-3/4″ lance has an altered iron tip, brass body and iron tail. Part of a lead (?) cover with wire wrap remains. Notches are cut about 1 5/8” back from the tip. SN 10. CONDITION: Rust-brown patina overall with moderate pitting. 4-45098 X8 (2,000-3,000)
