SPECTACULAR H.C. EVANS HORSE RACE GAMING WHEEL WITH ODDS INDICATOR. Circa 1940s. Perhaps one of the most desirable and aesthetically pleasing gaming wheels ever manufactured. On a wooden and cast iron tripod base with a mechanical drum odds wheel atop, this wheel with paper inserts depicting ten various horses at the racetrack. It is further enhanced with a tin/aluminum fanciful mirrored star like center, making this a desirable piece not only for gaming collectors, but horse lovers alike. Wheels of this nature were used throughout the country at local fairs and carnivals as well as at firehouse benefits, VFW’s, fraternal lodges, etc. SIZE: Approximately 84″ h., wheel is 60″ dia. CONDITION: Overall very good, paper on odds wheel has been replaced. 1-11091 (3,500-4,500)
