WELL ENGINEERED & CONSTRUCTED WORKING MODEL OF A VERTICAL CENTER-CRANK, SINGLE-CYLINDER, VERTICAL STEAM ENGINE. Model with a brass-jacketed cylinder of approx. 1” bore x 1-1/4” stroke, single 5” dia. spoked flywheel, cylinder-side-mounted valve chest. Eccentric-driven slide valve; other details include: single cast split center pillar engine frame with frame-incorporated tunnel-type crosshead guides, turned and tapered connecting rod, all on a deep-red painted cast engine. Runs well on steam or compressed air. SIZE: Engine base is 6” x 3’4”. Overall height of engine 12” on a recent mahogany display base. CONDITION: Perfect mechanical condition in either direction.
