HUGE FIGURAL PUNCH HEAD. Of unknown usage and manufacture, this wonderful piece appears to be constructed of a screen type mesh covered in a cloth or papier mache and painted accordingly. Appears to be of early vintage, perhaps 1900-1920, and it has great form and appeal. SIZE: 15″ h. PROVENANCE: Barbara J. Thornsjo Estate, Albion, Maine. CONDITION: Overall good. However, a fair amount of separation/cracks present throughout. 1-10780 (600-900)
