CAST IRON MECHANICAL RECLINING CHINA MAN BANK. Mfg. by J. & E. Stevens. Fairly scarce reclining China man lays on log holding a hand of cards with four aces. Below the legs of the China man is a rat exiting the log. When coin is placed in China man’s pocket both arms move alternately revealing his cards. SIZE: 8″ l. CONDITION: Overall good. China man is lacking most of the paint to his clothes as well as a small casting flaw near his eye. There is some touch-up to log and face with hands and arms being possible replacements. 1-10863 (1,200-1,800)
