PAIR OF “ALABAMA COON JIGGER” WIND-UP TIN TOYS. The first is a German Lehmann Alabama Coon Jigger. Black fellow dances comically on top of box when wound. Due to the success of the Lehmann Coon Jigger, other companies began manufacturing the toy. The second was made in NY by the Ferdinand Strauss Company. SIZE: 10″ h. CONDITION: First is very good with some typical wear to body and hat and slight discoloration to base. The second with some minor discoloration to base. 1-10889 (400-600)
