LOVELY PINTEL & GODCHAUX BEBE. Bisque socket head incised “B” over “P.10.G.” with closed mouth having nicely painted lips, large brown paperweight eyes, well painted eyelashes and eyebrows on original composition 5-piece body jointed at shoulders and hips. These late 19th Century dolls closely resemble the Gautier Bebes and are sometimes referred to as “Paul Girard” Bru. She wears a lovely copy of an original French Bru dress with jacket in light green and lavender brocade with embroidered rose design, a mint green ankle length skirt with lace overlay, nice pale blue leather boots, a brown human hair wig and a straw bonnet with feathers and cloth flowers. SIZE: 20″ (51cm).
