POLYPHON UPRIGHT MUSIC BOX WITH BELLS. Upright music box with walnut veneer, burl and inlay. Top is inlaid “Polyphon” with flowers. Front door has burled walnut and glass with cutout filigree to view interior. Raised on four legs, the front two are turned and carved. The interior of the box is a single comb with 12 nickel plated bells and plays 17 1/2″ discs, of which 14 are included. SIZE: 32″ t X 23″ w X 11″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good, slight veneer chip to back, small piece of carving loose on top. Retains original crank and key for lock. Interior very good. Works have been restored by Charles Wilson of Louisville, KY. 1-5884 EO (4,500-6,500)
