LOT OF TWO MECHANICAL BANKS. 1) Eagle and Eaglets Bank by J & E Stevens. Bank was originally sold as the American Eagle Bank in the late 1880s depicting a mother eagle feeding her young. 2) Lion and Two Monkeys bank by Kyser & Rex. When the lever is pressed, the monkey deposits a coin in the lion’s mouth. A very amusing bank. SIZE: Eagle and Eaglet Bank, 8 1/4″ t, Lion and Two Monkeys bank 9″ l. CONDITION: As with most of these banks, the small monkey and trap is replaced, also some minor touch up.
