LOT OF 2 MECHANICAL BANKS. 1). All original Mason Bank mechanical bank (in need of a light cleaning). This classic bank of a mason laying bricks with his Irish helper carrying a hod full of cement is finely polychromed in reds, blues, grays and maroons with gold, green and yellow highlighting. Bank still retains its original trap and is in working order. 2). Boy Robbing Bird’s Nest bank is likely a replica from the 1930s-1940s from the Solotha Brothers Still a collectible bank and very affordable for someone who does not wish to spend in the multi-thousands for an original example. SIZE: 7 1/4″l & 5 1/2″l, respectively. CONDITION: Mason is good to very good and Bird’s Nest is very good to excellent. 1-6111, 1-6112 JL (1,500-2,500)
