LARGE MARKLIN STEAM ENGINE. A very fine and rarely found large steam plant with much attention to detail. One of the largest steam engines manufactured by Marklin. Mounted on a base, this intricate steam plant along with electric (?) twin powered pistons, would be used to drive various accessories. Marked with the Marklin logo on base this toy is in “as found” all original untouched condition from a Massachusetts estate. SIZE: 19″ w., 16″ d. CONDITION: Overall very fine, lacking one set of removable stairs (connects to catwalk of boiler). Might be lacking another small part or two. 1-6352 MC (2,000-4,000)
