IMPRESSIVE DENT CAST IRON BATTLESHIP “THE NEW YORK”. One of the largest and well detailed cast iron boats ever made. From the ladders going up the side of the ship to the detail of the smoke stacks and masts the craftsmanship is just superior. Modeled after a 1890s American battleship this one is called, “The New York”, named after an actual boat in the American fleet. Boat is enameled in white and yellow with blue and red highlights. Copper flash cannons and anchors and tin masts. I’m sure this boat would keep a child enthralled for hours at a time. SIZE: 20″ l. CONDITION: The only negative thing to say about the boat is that one of the masts is replaced. Otherwise it is in near excellent condition with only minor chipping. It is rare to find this boat in this superior condition. 1-6349 MC (3,000-4,000)
