CAST IRON “PIRATE” ELECTRIC CIGAR LIGHTER. Marked on reverse, “L.D. BLOCH & CO., PATENT PENDING, COPYRIGHTED 1928”. A figural pirate holding a treasure chest on which the lighter rests, complete with original electrical wiring. There is a screw receptacle on the underside, so I assume this was screwed onto the counter of a cigar shop where it could be used to light one’s cigar. SIZE: 11”h. CONDITION: Original hard plastic plug broken. Gold-toned surface worn with some minor pitting. 1-5944 (300-500)
