STANLEY AFRICA GAME. Extremely rare Bliss game depicting the famous expedition in deepest darkest Africa that starts at the mouth of the Congo and terminates in Zanzibar. Box lid depicts H.M. Stanley on his mule attended by three armed native scouts. Interior of game is beautifully lithographed with various colleagues of Stanley in vignettes around the perimeter along with scenes from various African localities. SIZE: 18-3/4″ l. x 9-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Box is very strong with crisp bright colors. Only the slightest wear at corners. Some paper lifting from one corner on back of game board, but does not detract one iota from this most impressive, historical, and rare game. 1-5245 MC (3,750-4,750)
