GAULTHIER BEBE. SIZE: 16-1/2″ (42 cm), with head incised, “F.G. (with in a scroll) 6”. This 1890s doll has closed mouth, blue paperweight eyes, nicely painted eyebrows, on her original wood and composition fully jointed body. She is well costumed in a shocking pink pleated satin dress with lace center panel and collar, a replacement sheepskin wig over her original pate and wearing newer beige leather boots with hills. CONDITION: Overall very good, minor color rub on left cheek, fingertips worn, body in very good condition with original finish. 1-5531 RS (2,000-2,500)
