SECOND SERIES PORTRAIT JUMEAU. A fine example of a second series portrait marked with a “4” in neck socket and still retaining original spring in head. Doll has large amber eyes, mauve eye shadowing and fine bisque. She is on an eight ball-jointed Jumeau body wearing a newer French-styled cotton print dress. She has original antique shoes with buckles and a blonde mohair wig. CONDITION: Cork pate has not been removed but bisque head has been inspected and appears to be free of damage. Lower straight-wristed arms are incorrect. JL 1-2259 (3500-4500)
