17” RARE HERTEL AND SCHWAB 141 GLASS-EYED CHARACTER. An extremely unusual open-mouthed version of a rare character doll with excellent bisque, marked on rear of head 141 5. Doll is identical in appearance to the normal Hertel and Schwab #141 character. Doll has accented open mouth with four teeth and finely painted eyebrows. She is on a fully-jointed composition body wearing an antique white cotton dress, original sandy blonde mohair wig, and antique shoes and socks. CONDITION: Doll is loosely strung, and overall body condition is very good. JL 1-2303 (2000-2500)
