THE FAMOUS LIONEL BLUE COMET TRAIN SET This very desirable set includes No. 400E locomotive w/c.i. and tin construction-brass and copper accents. Passenger cars include No. 421 “Westphal”, No. 422 “Tempel”, No. 420 “Faye” and “Lionel Lines” pull car. Some details on passenger cars include celluloid windows with ‘stained glass’ look, opening doors, lighted interiors and politicians’ rear deck on “Tempel” car. Entire set is done in beautiful cobalt and larkspur blues w/red cast wheels and cow catcher. A very impressive toy – the best of quality! SIZE: Locomotive measures 18” l. CONDITION: Untested. Locomotive has light overall wear and soiling. All passenger cars are very good. 1-589 (5,000-7,000)
