PATE SUR PATE CIRCULAR BOX AND A VASE. Circa 1900. The first a Meissen example with retailer stamp of Gilman Collamore & Co., New York with gold gilt highlights centering a blue-gray rondel in the lid of a dancing cherub all on a mauve ground. The second a bulbous vase, unmarked, charcoal ground decorated with frolicking puttis amongst fern leafs and other exotic foliate branches. The vase with an everted rim gilt decorated. SIZE: Round box 2″ h x 3-1/2″ d.; Vase 6″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good. 9-21453 (600-900)
