GEORGE IV MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Second quarter 19th century. The rectangular top with molded edges and hinged leaves above the conforming frieze fitted with a single deep drawer divided by compartments raised on unusual square legs designed on a 45 degree angle to the square. The carved flared feet with molded ankles. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h x 32-1/2″ d x 16-1/2″ w. 30″ w open. PROVENANCE: Estate of Nancy H. Woods, Boothbay, Maine. CONDITION: Table retains early surfaces with very good patina. Replaced 19th century hardware. Old restorations on frieze by drawer. Very good overall. 9-20928 (600-900)
