EASTERN EUROPEAN ICON. 19th century, possibly Russian. Painted on board and clad in hammered copper depicting a central Ecclesiastical figure flanked by two lesser figures of saints. Above the halo of the central figure is one line of cyrillic text. SIZE: 13-1/4″ x 11″. CONDITION: Board covered in a brocade fabric. The hammered copper in fairly good condition overall with slight denting and creasing. All appears original. 9-97803 (2,000-4,000)
