AMERICAN STENCILED AND PAINT-DECORATED ARROW-BACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIR. Late 19th century. The tablet crest with stenciled foliate cartouche joined to seven bent spindles, the arms with rolled grips centering the shaped plank seat raised on simulated bamboo legs joined by a lozenge-form frontal stretcher. SIZE: 31″ h. of back x 16-3/4″ h. of seat. CONDITION: Very good overall with acceptable wear and paint loss. 9-91927 (400-600)
