ATTRIBUTED TO VICTOR DE GRAILLY (American, 1804-1889) VALLEY MILL. Oil on canvas landscape shows a large connected building mill with several smokestacks. The water which runs the mill cascades from a tunnel and a man is fishing. The viewer looks through trees and bushes at the valley scene with mountains under a wonderful colored sky. Housed in a fancy wide gesso decorated period frame. SIZE: 19-3/4” x 24”. CONDITION: Craquelure, generally very good. Some minor inpainting. 9-73193 (2,000-3,000)
