UNSIGNED (19th CENTURY) WORKING ON THE CANAL. Framed un-stretched oil on canvas interesting scene of a large plantation/ house nestled amongst large trees at edge of canal. Nine men work at various tasks involving the loading and unloading of small boats and barges. Housed in a partial gilt modern frame. SIGHT SIZE: 14-1/2” x 18-1/2”. CONDITION: Unrestored with areas of missing paint, craquelure and chipping. 9-73199 (400-800)
