WILLIAM MARK FISHER (American, 1841-1923) “LANDSCAPE WITH SHEEP”. Oil on wood panel scene shows a flock of twelve sheep on rock, grass and bushy hillside under a blue and cloud sky. Signed lower right. Housed in its original gesso decorated gilt frame bearing two old labels to reverse. One label is a Hendrickson, Doll & Richards, Boston and Museum of Fine Arts indicating artist, subject and owner “Charles Francis Loaned 1886”. PROVENANCE: Collection of Mrs. George T.
