Outstanding oil on canvas Maine coastal scene shows a small harbor with moored lobster boats, points of land and hills in background under a cloud and blue sky. A sailboat with two-mast sails on a tranquil blue ocean. Foreground has a rock and tree covered bank. Housed in its fine gilt and carved wood original frame. Signed lower left “Jos B. Kahill 1948”.
