JARED BRADLEY FLAGG (American, 1820-1899) PORTRAIT OF YOUNG WOMAN. Oval oil on canvas side view portrait of a girl with long brown hair wearing a white shawl and pearl necklace. Housed in its original fruit decorated oval gilt frame. Signed lower left “J. B. Flagg 1865”. Flagg was founder of the Yale Art Library and he worked in New Haven and New York City during the time of this portrait. SIZE: 17” x 14”. CONDITION: Good with spot inpainting on cheek.
