PAIR OF ORIENTAL BRONZE VASES ON WOOD STANDS. The antique vases are made in three sections, which are bolted together. The body adorned with serpent, foo dog and bird decoration in relief. The carved wood hub type tapered bases are antique also. Probably 19th Century. Vases have open bottom. May have held lamp font. PROVENANCE: Form a fine Brunswick, Maine Estate. SIZE: Vases are 21-3/4” h; total is 41-3/4” h. CONDITION: One base section is detached but present. Weathered and cracked pedestals with some large chips. 9-27481 (800-1,200)
