CHIPPENDALE BALL AND CLAW FOOT PERIOD WING CHAIR. Probably New York. Stripped of its upholstery and showing multiple tack lines. Mahogany well carved and formed ball and claw front legs, outstretching mahogany back legs. Well formed wings and shaped crest. 18th Century. SIZE: 48” h x 33” across arms x 14-1/2” to top of seat rail. CONDITION: Good with one back bottom horizontal bar appears to be a replacement. 9-27386 (3,000-5,000)
