WONDERFULLY DECORATED LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY ESKIMO SCRIMSHAW CRIBBAGE BOARD. The front fitted for cribbage board and decorated with various seals on ice flows. The reverse with Eskimo hunters in boat, also Eskimo hunter in kayak and walrus on ice flow. SIZE: 23” l. CONDITION: Scrimshaw strong and bright and well detailed, tusk has been broken in a couple of places and has been restored. 9-25724 (550-650)
