WILLIS A. ADAMS (American, 1854-1932) “THE BROOK”. Rectangular oil on canvas depicting a brook and forested landscape. Signed in lower left “W. A. Adams 03” in what appears to be the original ornate gold frame. The reverse retains an exposition label for the Louisiana Purchase Exhibition of 1904 was titled “The Brook” and his address was listed as Park City, Utah. SIZE: 23” x 13”. Including frame: 21” w x 31” h. CONDITION: Never cleaned, some small imperfections on antique old frame, otherwise generally good and original. 9-25753 (1,000-3,000)
