Small oil on canvas laid on board shows an early colorful fall landscape, a river winds in front of tree lined mountain with house nestled on far bank. Two people in small rowboat next to left hand shore. Possibly a depiction of the Saco River. Signed lower right “S.R. Gifford” in red. Housed in a fine replacement arts and crafts style double frame.
