FINE DECORATED MASTER POWDER HORN FROM JONESBORO, MAINE. This large type horn was used to fill the smaller powder horns of individual soldiers. It is decorated with heart, pinwheels, a hunter, animals and birds. Dated and signed “Dec 14, 1837 S. E. W.”. The original wood end cap is present. The powder horn was made by Samuel E. Watts of Jonesboro, Maine. A nice identified Maine historical item. SIZE: 18-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96026 (800-1,200)
