Large oil on canvas scene shows small single mast fishing boat with ten people aboard sailing through cresting waves toward a British steam ship. Other sailboats are seen next to island fortress. Housed in a magnificent flower and scroll decoration deep gilt frame. Label on reverse from Robert Macindoe, Glasgow. PROVENANCE: Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, Hawaii. SIZE: 41” x 49”. CONDITION: Very good.
