FINE 18TH CENTURY DUTCH MARQUETRY CORNER CHAIR. Bowed backrest inlaid with central flower having scrolled leaf and flowers to each side. Flat arm sections with trailing flowers and string inlay. Two shaped backsplats adorned with urns of flowers, flanked by turned columns with vertical flower inlays. Shaped upholstered drop-in seat. Standing on four cabriole legs enriched with floral marquetry and terminated on carved ball and claw feet. Backside is fully marquetry decorated. A fine example of intricate inlay and style. SIZE: 36-1/2″h x 28-3/4″ w x 19″ seat height. CONDITION: Very good, some very minor old repairs. 9-93620 (5,000-7,500)
