SMITH & WESSON FIRST MODEL SCHOFIELD REVOLVER. Cal .45 S&W. Martially marked with 7” keyhole bbl, half moon front sight and 2-pc walnut grips. There is a faint “US” on the butt, tiny inspector marks in the proper places and an outline of a cartouche on both grips. SN 103. CONDITION: Good, retains 15-20% original blue in the sheltered areas with the balance a mottled blue brown patina mixed with scattered fine pitting. The grips are sound with a chipped toe and smooth dark finish. Bright shiny bore with scattered pitting. Good mechanics 4-49487 JR490 (1,000-1,500)
