ENGLISH HEPPLEWHITE FIGURED MAHOGANY DEMILUNE CARD TABLE. Circa 1800. Demilune hinged top with cross banding. Above a conforming cross banded frieze raised on square tapered legs with string inlay. The two rear legs hinged. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h x 36-3/4″ w x 17″ d. PROVENANCE: Robert Frederick Woolworth Estate, Monmouth, Maine. (F.W. Woolworth Store). CONDITION: Proper left quadrant hinged top with dark water stain. Interior of hinged top with shrinkage split. Minor losses to cross banding. Otherwise structurally good with all old surfaces. 9-23529 (400-600)
