NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE MAPLE SWING LEG DROP LEAF TABLE. Last quarter of the 18th Century. Rectangular single board top with rounded edges and hinged demilune leaves projecting above the scalloped apron raised on angular cabriole legs, two of which are hinged for leaf support, all terminating in circular pad feet. SIZE: 27-3/4″ h x 43″ x 15″ (closed); 45-1/2″ (open). CONDITION: Table retains old, dry finish with minor repair to apron at leg joint and to one return. Hinged and leaves original, pad feet untouched. Appears to retain original dowels, very good overall. 9-97978 (1,000-1,500)
