IMPORTANT CUSHING & WHITE STANDING STAG WEATHERVANE. Circa 1870. Cushing & White, Waltham, MA. The full bodied copper example with gilded and verdigris surfaces with cut ears and zinc filled antlers. Offered on a museum stand. Note: For an identical example see The Art of the Weathervane by Steve Miller, page 147. SIZE: 29″ h x 22-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Extremely fine with original surfaces, retaining much of original gilding. With very minor seam separation. 9-25623 (10,000-20,000)
