SCHOOL OF MABEL MAY WOODWARD (American, 1877-1945) THE SUNBATHERS. Good unsigned oil on board beach scene shows a group of beach goers lying under colorful beach umbrellas in colorful swimsuits. An Oriental parasol in red, blue and gold shields one bather. Beyond the umbrellas is a wavy green ocean with blue sky. Housed in a partial gilt molded wood frame with linen matte. SIZE: 8″ x 10″. CONDITION: Very good with only minor inpainting. 9-92014 (12,000-18,000)
