A NICE COLLECTION OF COLDPAINT BRONZE FIGURES AND OTHER CURIOSITIES. Late 19th century. This lot includes an interesting spring paper holder depicting combat between hound and elk. The second a pair of bronze dogs with jackets. The third a pair of lead dacshsunds all cold painted. Together with a figural letter opener marked “JB732”, with a dogs head handle. The last a bronzed paperweight in the form of a snail marked “MWPIE—“. SIZE: First 8 1/2″ l. Height of small dogs 1″ and 1 1/2″. Length of snail 4 1/4”. CONDITION: The first in good condition, minor paint loss, old dirty surface. The four small dogs in structurally good condition but with major losses to paint. The letter opener with old surface and old repair to blade. The snail in very good condition signature illegible, very good overall. 9-91990 (250-400)
