ROBERT EMMETT OWEN (American, 1878-1957) THE MAJESTIC OAK. Outstanding oil on canvas New England landscape shows central dirt road meandering by a tall oak tree in crimson foliage. Several other oaks beside turning green to red. Stonewalls flank the road, which follows into the distance with houses, fields and woods. Wonderful billowing white clouds on a deep blue sky.
