MAGNIFICENT MAHOGANY CHIMING VICTORIAN GRANDFATHER CLOCK. This exquisite clock, probably dating to around the turn of the 19th Century. Manufactured by Richard W. S. Kingerley Co., Providence, RI. Strikes on the hour with a chiming movement and features both Tranty??? And Westminster chimes. The magnificent dial has a platinum colored background with details, scroll work etc. and having applied gold filigree lattice work in the corners. Face has a revolving sun and moon phase. The magnificent mahogany case with full reeded columns and bold paw feet. The sides and front set with heavy beveled glass. The crest with a swans neck pediment and finial. Front of crest also fitted with matching columns to the base. A high quality, outstanding mahogany Victorian clock. SIZE: 102”. CONDITION: Very good. 3-30423 (5,500-7,500)
